PBEAT2025 Artist in Residence Pearl Beach NSW
Every second year the Pearl Beach Arboretum holds an Environmental Art Trail (PBEAT) over 5 weeks.
PBEAT2025 will run in March/April 2025.
We have funding for a two-week ARTIST RESIDENCY
made possible by Central Coast Council
CREATIVE ART CENTRAL PROGRAM' including a $5,000 artist fee plus $5,000 towards two weeks accommodation in Pearl Beach from 15th to the 30th March 2025.
The artist must produce a work of Art in the Arboretum inspired by harmony through nature and responding the the Arboretum setting. In addition the artist will hold two community worshops and will mentor a lcoal emerging artist.
The Arboretum will consider any art form inspired by the theme and the setting including visual art and performance art. Temporary installations are valid and all works must be developed on the understanding that there is no security at the site, and that the Arboretum will retain joint copyright.
