MOVEMENT AT THE ENSEMBLE:. Mark Kilmurry, Artistic Director, Ensemble Theatre today announced that Paul Clitheroe AM will be the new Chair of Ensembles Foundation Board, an appointment which Ensemble Theatre is delighted to announce. I am absolutely thrilled with the appointment of Paul to chair of our foundation board.

The Ensemble theatre has a long relationship with Paul and Vicki Clitheroe and they have been a huge supporter of our Education and schools program and long term subscribers of the Ensemble theatre. I look forward to welcoming Paul to the team and benefitting from his expertise as we steer the Ensemble theatre well into the future, said Mark Kilmurry. Paul is a well-known financial analyst and financial advisor.

In the past he has hosted the TV program, Money (Ch 9) from 1993 to 2002. His Talking Money segments run on radio stations all over Australia and he has written for numerous financial publications and newspapers. Paul Clitheroe was Chairman of the Australian Government Financial Literacy Board from 2003 to 2019, and is Chairman of Ecstra, an organisation established to provide support for financial literacy initiatives Paul established IPAC securities in 1983.

The business was sold to AXA in 2002 with funds under management of $9 billion. He is Chairman of Money Magazine and his book Making Money has sold over 600,000 copies. Paul is Chairman of the youth anti drink driving body RADD and is Chairman of the listed Fin Tech company InvestSMART.

He holds the Chair of Financial Literacy at Macquarie University and is a Professor in the School of Business and Economics. He was appointed as a Member of the Order of Australia in 2008 for services to the financial services industry and the community. Ensemble Theatre presents established classics and exciting new Australian works.

Ensemble collaborates with the nations best playwrights and creative talent to provide live theatre experiences which reflect contemporary society and trigger the imaginations of audiences across the country. .
