A filmed version of Simon Stephens Sea Wall is now online on YouTube, with streaming made available for one week only. The 30-minute performance stars Andrew Scott, for whom Sea Wall was originally written for. Stephens one-man play follows Alex, a man who loves his family, his job and his surroundings.

But, when he visits his father in the south of France, his life changes. Sea Wall received its world premiere at the Bush Theatre in 2008, starring Andrew Scott. The production was revived at the Old Vic a decade later for a two-week run, as part of the venues 200th anniversary.

The show was given unanimous approval from critics, praising Scotts extraordinary performance. Scotts recent theatre credits include an acclaimed titular performance in Hamlet as the titular character at the Harold Pinter Theatre and Garry Essendine in Present Laughter at the Old Vic, earning an Olivier Award nomination for best actor. Sea Wall is now available to watch until 18th May.
