A CELEBRATION OF THEATRE GLOBAL FRINGE WEEK 1:. Its time. After much planning with our partners across the globe, Global Fringe starts this Wednesday.

Spoilt for choice, you can catch this weeks brilliant theatre pieces in a number of ways. Join our Wednesday evening Gala Live Stream, see Ninefolds performances live in-person at the Old 505 Theatre, or stream shows on demand from Thursday through Sunday evening. A CELEBRATION OF THEATRE GALA LIVE STREAM #1 To open Global Fringe we begin with a celebration of theatre that paints with image and sound.

Across two Sydney made works and one from London, movement and soundscape take centre stage a celebration of the evocative power to spark imagination. This special live stream features three performances as well as bonus content. Sydney company Clockfires meditation on natures most mysterious element is inspired by Brett Whitelys beautiful beach paintings, and re-created especially for the online streaming environment.

A Murder Story, Retold. A telling and retelling of a suburban murder story by Ninefold is performed to Max Richters musical re-compositions of Vivaldis Four Seasons. This part of the Gala Live Stream will be broadcast live and direct from the Old 505 Theatre in Newtown and unless you have tickets for one of the live in-person performances, the Gala Live Stream will be your only chance to see this show at Global Fringe.

Queen Have & Miss Havent. Queen Victoria and Miss Havisham mourn their losses in a monstrous modernist ballet, employing dance, spoken-word lip sync and stunning design, from iconoclastic UK dance duo Thick & Tight. This performance has been made possible through our partnerships with Stockholm Fringe and Brighton Fringe.

Live Stream Wednesday 2 September 6.30pm A MURDER STORY, RETOLD LIVE IN-PERSON AT OLD 505 THEATRE. As live performance returns to Sydney safely and socially distanced Ninefold bring their dramatic retelling of a murder story to Old 505 Theatre. Developed as part of our Made In Sydney program, and also featured as part of this weeks Gala Live Stream, A Murder Story, Retold plays from Wednesday to Saturday night.
