Jopuka Productions

Thanks for the shout out ABC Central Coast how good is having a regional ABC Outlet to cover local events.? Nearly a year after the arts industry was shut down across the Central Coast, musical theatre has returned Youth arts company Jopuka Productions opened the production of Thirteen over the weekend, which runs until February 19th at the new Red Tree Theatre at Tuggerah. Artistic Director Josh Maxwell said the return to the stage had come under challenging conditions, We could never have predicted the conditions wed be rehearsing under. We have a 90 page COVID plan that is followed to the letter.

The cast has almost had to be in a social bubble for a month, and weve had 5-10 weekly random tests through the company for safety. Being one of the few companies back on stage, not just in Australia, but in the world is a surreal experience. Have you been back to the theatre yet?.
